I'm Gabi, founder of Females Flying Solo! I started FFS all the way back in 2023. In all honesty, it was a complete accident… so here's how we got here.
In 2021, I went through the breakup and heartbreak of a four-year relationship at 23. I was unhappy and craving freedom, adventure and just an escape. Sooooo I packed my bags and booked a one-way ticket halfway across the world to Thailand. That trip changed everything. I discovered my confidence and my independence. I felt like a brand-new version of myself. It wasn't that I "found myself" out there but that I finally got to create the version of me I'd always dreamed of being.
Somewhere along the way, though, I got lonely. I'd built all this confidence, but I was travelling with no one to share it with. So one day, sitting by myself in Hanoi, I randomly started a Facebook group called Females Flying Solo just to see if I could make friends with other women travelling too.
A few months later, I took a complete risk and organised a girls only group trip to Costa Rica. It sold out. 18 strangers from the internet, all solo female travellers, trusting me with their trip. That was the birth of FFS and our first ever group trip.
Now fast forward to today...
…and we've taken 500+ women to over 10 destinations around the world!!!
Honestly, I still can't quite believe it. What started as one lonely girl in in Hanoi is now a whole community of women who've realised the same thing I did: you don't have to wait for the right time, the right partner, or the right friends to be free to go and see the world.
Every single woman who travels with us arrives solo. Nervous, excited, usually a little scared. And every single one of them leaves with a group of women who feel like they've known her forever.
Because FFS was never just about the girls' trips. It's not just a trip to a new destination, but to a new version of you. More confident, more fearless, the woman who stops waiting around for other people and finally goes after the life she wants.
I know exactly what it feels like to crave adventure and connection. To want the freedom of doing it on your own, without actually having to do it all on your own.

What A Wonderful 9 Days!
What a wonderful 9 days! Igor was our tour guide and we got an authentic experience. He was able to provide more than just a tour, he gave us his authentic story! We saw more than what was on the itinerary, he provided us with so much information, and truly showed he is passionate about his experience. I would 100% come back and visit Brazil. The girls on this trip will be forever friends, I am so thankful for females flying solo!

If I could give it more stars I would! My Bali trip with Females flying Solo was an amazing trip for me and my first experience going on a trip alone! I felt so safe and well taken care of and the itinerary was a perfect balance of fun and learning the local culture!! I would recommend any Females Flying Solo trip to any girl trying to meet other women like them and want to explore the world! Our tour guide Putri was also amazing and could not of asked for a better guide! If you are nervous about traveling alone, I highly recommend planning a trip with Females Flying Solo!

The best Bali trip imaginable!!
This has been such an amazing trip filled with so many experiences, new memories and friends!! From chilling and bonding in the VIP area at Finn’s, to snorkeling at Gili T, to watching the most beautiful sunsets at the beach, it was all just like a paradise dream! Putri was not only the best possible tour guide, but also a fantastic photographer and friend and this trip would not have been the same without her! I would easily give more than 5 stars if that was possible!!

Can’t wait for my next trip!
Great option for those starting out travelling alone. Having the support of everything being planned and really getting to enjoy the experience. Getting out of your comfort zone and more unique being tailored specifically to women and their concerns. Building a great community i am still in touch with.
Hotels are of great quality, lots of different options of activities to really get the feel of the location. Trip managers (gabi and megan) knowledgable with suggestions and really welcoming.
Can’t wait for my next trip!
